At the National Institute of Christian Leadership (NICL), Dr. Rutland will teach you the principles needed to build trust and reduce conflict such as:

  • How to understand different types of leaders and how they fit within your organization
  • How to properly utilize leadership (involves change) and management (seeks order) to help your organization fulfill it’s vision
  • How to conduct an honest systems analyst of your team, communicate your present reality, and cast a vision for the future
  • How to understand the three leadership styles and how they affect your team
  • How to maintain balance between the ten leadership functions for success
  • How to align your organization correctly using mission and vision (Dr. Rutland’s Vertical Mission / Function Axis)
  • Quality is meeting expectations. Learn to be excellent in setting clear expectations with your team
  • How to navigate change in leadership using short-term wins
  • How to change the internal culture of your organization
  • How to manage the stress of leadership (positive and negative) and how to react to it
  • How to identify the ten stages of disloyalty before it’s too late
  • How to make decisions as a team and understand why bad decisions get made

Note: The majority of these teachings are taught in Session 1 titled, Change Dynamics and Session 3 titled, Transformational Management.
